The money

What the three cities committed.

Cost has never been the main objection on this site — the terms are. It is here because it is public, and because a budget line is the one lever a council pulls every single year.

CityApprovedAmountBasisDescribed on the agenda as
Springdale July 22, 2025 $532,800 three-year total “hardware and software safety products”
Bentonville May 14, 2024 $56,040 ordinance amount “SECURITY CAMERAS FOR THE BENTONVILLE PARKS DEPARTMENT”
Siloam Springs December 17, 2024 $58,400 year one; $57,000 annual recurring “Contract / Police Department / Flock Safety / System Purchase / $58,400”
Total$647,240across the three cities, as approved
Springdale's three years renew into another three. The Order Form sets the initial term at 36 months and the renewal term at 36 months. Under § 7.1 the agreement renews automatically for “the greater of one year or the length set forth on the Order Form” unless one side gives notice at least thirty days before the term ends. Nobody has to vote to continue it. Somebody has to act to stop it.
One caveat on the Bentonville figure. No pricing document appears anywhere in the Flock item of that city's council packet, so even the basis of its number is a records request.
