Truth NWA
About

What this is, and what it is not.

Truth NWA sets public statements by Northwest Arkansas officials beside the contracts and council packets those statements describe. Every quote is linked to its source. Anyone can check it — including the people who signed these agreements.

The method

Four rules govern every page.

  • Quote, don't characterise. Statements appear in their own words, with a section number, a page number, or a transcript line.
  • Never assert illegality. This site says what a document says and what a statute says, and then asks a question the city can answer in writing. Legal outcomes belong to courts.
  • Never “they lied.” A statement can be entirely true about how a department behaves while a contract clause does completely different work about what a vendor may do. That gap is the finding.
  • Print the other side at full weight. Where a department or the vendor responded, the response is in the same card. Where evidence cuts against this site's framing, it is published, not omitted.

What is on it

18 statement-and-document comparisons across three cities · the ten strongest exchanges from the July 14, 2025 committee recording · 109 dated and sourced incidents from other jurisdictions · the research on whether the technology reduces crime, and on what does · and the meeting times for 18 Northwest Arkansas governing bodies.

Who runs it

This site is published without a byline. That is a deliberate choice, and it has a cost: an unsigned site is easier to dismiss. The answer to that is the sourcing — every claim on this site can be checked against a document that exists whether or not anyone trusts the person who compiled it. Read the sources page and judge it on that.

Corrections

Errors get fixed, dated, and kept on the corrections page permanently. If something here is wrong, say so — including if you are one of the people quoted.

Truth NWA quotes public documents and links to them. It is not legal advice, it is not a legal conclusion, and it does not assert that any person, department, or city has broken any law. Where a city or the vendor has answered, the answer is printed beside the question. Corrections are welcome and are published with a date.
